Mary Gay's Story
Nov 2020. what a year so far. Hello to fellow classmates. Just to let you know when I see your name on the list all I see is your face from many years ago - passing in the halls or sitting in class. Nobody ever ages in my mind's eye. So many changes, I lost my brilliant and beautiful daughter, Ashley and my mom two years ago. That is a game changer. Life is more precious and fragile. Be kind. I've been very busy as a Board of Director for the Congressional Award (I am the Director of Fundraising). Needless to say this year has been a challenge in every direction. So -- I play a lot of golf and try to wait this out with patience. Hope all of you are well.
June 16, 2015 So many updates in the last year. My husband passed away suddenly and my brother, Joe Preslar, passed away last August. So life is different. I still live in Las Vegas but visit Memphis regularly to see my mom. I am on Facebook so please reach out to m...Expand for more

Hi all, just wanted to stick my face into the classmates crowd and say hello T Bears! I do get home to Memphis and my family often.
. . . to be continued . . .
When Donald and I were in Memphis for my mother's 80th Birthday we drove past Trezevant. There was a football team in practice on the field and looks like another building was added at some point. Sure is different to say the least. I thought it was a tech school but looked like high school students around the area. We went to the Peabody and had lunch-best ice tea I ever had! Had Corky's BBQ and Ripley tomatoes. Life is good. Memphis has changed since I left in 1972. MSU is now Uof Mem. UTMedical is still the same and I spent lots of time in the classrooms of those old university buildings-my dorm was the Goodman House. I liked it much better than the new dorms (now 40 years old!!)
